The other morning I came out into the living room to find a piece of chewed plastic wrapping and the leftovers of a chocolate on the wool rug. I had been too tired the night before to remember to put the chocolates back in the cupboards before going to bed. Stupid of me. There were five pieces in the plastic wrapping when I left them on the sofa table. I found a piece and a half...
I cleaned up the mess (cat paw prints in chocolate on a green wool rug...) while cursing. Both at myself and the cats. I knew exactly how it had all played out. Skorpan would've been up on the table (where he's not allowed) and he's either kicked or carried the plastic wrapping down. JumJum would've instantly ran over to chew the plastic and then the two of them shared the chocolate. But Skorpan probably took more than JumJum.
When I was all done I found the cats in two different positions and places of the house.
JumJum hid in one of the corners of our entrance hall. He had to squeeze between two of my bags (the black parts in the bottom of the picture) to get into the spot next to our shoe rack. He had his back turned out. Clearly trying not to be seen. He was ashamed and definitely knew he'd done something he shouldn't have done.
Skorpan, on the other hand, lay totally relaxed on the floor watching me do the cleaning. He was probably wondering what I was doing down on the floor on my hands and knees. 'Cause he wouldn't be clever enough to feel ashamed... My goofy cat. The not-so-bright-but-charming-one.

Vilka personligheter de är, dina katter!!
Jag missade textilmässan i helgen, du får berätta mer om den när vi ses!
WOW! Cats that eat chocolate! Never heard of that. I'd definitely expect this of my dog but not my cats. I hope your cats weren't feeling sick from their snack though.
Little sh$#ts...
Ummm...I meant to say: how could you resist those innocent faces? lol...love, auntie Shelley. :)
