Five mornings out of seven, I have JumJum with me in the bathroom when it's time for me to brush my teeth. This morning I was all on my own in the bathroom. When I was ready to leave for work I found out why.
Skorpan and JumJum watching the action outside the window together.
They were all cosied up in the "basket" on their scratching pole. It's a perfect size for JumJum and it's his favourite place in the whole house. But with Skorpan squished in there as well? My guess is that JumJum just couldn't get out to join me in the bathroom...
It makes me happy to see them like this though. After spending 6 years together they still make the choice to be close.
(Looking through cat pictures on my computer I found another example of both of them in the "basket" on the scratching pole. My guess is that they were somewhere between 6 and 12 months old in the picture.

So cute!! My cats will rarely lay together..if one is in bed, the other is under the bed. Love the picture of the younger kitties too!
Awww! Winter is kitty snuggle time around here--they pile on one another for warmth. Apparently that happens at your place, too! They're so adorable, both as kittens and adults. Love the kitties!
