This morning I set up our broadband Internet at home!!! Yes, we're finally connected properly again and can use our own computer for Internet-things!!! A friend of ours is coming by tomorrow to help us set up the wireless connection and get anti virus programs and firewalls and such installed properly.
It means that I'll soon be:
- blogging properly from home (with new pictures)
- setting up a proper Flckr account
- starting using Ravelry* "for real" with updates on projects, my stash and all that
- getting myself another "serious" email address for "serious" emailing
I have this vision of me taking a lot of pictures (we have our own garden now so I can be creative outdoors!!!), emptying the camera every day and saving the pictures where they're supposed to be, making back ups of our saved files regularly (we have an external harddrive now), blogging about my progress on both sewing and knitting projects and overall doing a more proper "blogging job" than I do now when I dabble on work computers on which I can't save pictures like I want to.
We're connected again! And my new relationship with my blog, my camera and Ravelry* can begin!
*Ravelry is an online community for knitters, crocheters, designers, spinners and dyers. One can keep track of one's yarn, tools and pattern information, and look to others for ideas and inspiration. There are groups and discussion forums one can choose to join.

Congratulations...enjoy!
I'm so excited that you were able to get everything set up at home and I hope the last few steps go well! I can't wait for you to use Ravelry - the organizational tools are awesome! I don't use the fourms much but man the information on that site is amazing!
