Pattern: This is a Mayflower pattern, #14/114
Yarn: Marks&Kattens' Flox in colour 1751. The yarn is 100% cotton.
Needles: 2,5mm/US1-2 and 3mm/US2-3
Time: Started at the end of February and finished March 21st, 2008
Project modifications: The only thing I did differently than the pattern was the number of buttons. The pattern calls for five but I added six of them.
Comments: This is made for a friend's baby who hasn't been born yet. My friend is due in May. I chose to make the 3-month-size so the baby can wear it at the end of summer and early fall.
I loved the actual knitting part but hated the finishing... It was fiddly to seam and I got so many loose ends I almost cried... I'm very happy with the end result though, so I guess it was all worth it.
I'll leave you with a modelling shoot, using my Canadian Teddy Bear as a model. I guess he's not 3 months onld yet... :)
