I went to a fabric store on Saturday to get some zippers. I wanted to make a cosmetic bag to bring to the gym and I lacked a zipper. At the store I found a box with scrap fabrics on sale and looking through it two different fabrics caught my eye. Brown and pink. Some glitter. Flowers and dots. Not my normal style at all, but I fell in love!
I used a tutorial for a Straight Sided Triangular Cosmetic Bag on Craftster. I think making the pattern, cutting the fabric, getting the interfacing on and sewing it all up took me about an hour and an half. Or something like that.
The end result:
I will definately make more of these. They're easy and I love the shape. I'll make them bigger though as I won't be able to fit my hairbrush into this one...
