The dream is coming true!

Thank you all for the comments on my latest couch pillows! I've appreciated reading them here and in emails. :)

~~~~~
My thoughts are all over the place, but mostly they're in Canada or the US. I'm planning my vacation for next spring. I have a route mapped out and some dates I'm aiming for. I have three quotes on plane tickets from three different travel agencies.
Now in the next couple of weeks I "just" have to:
  • check my bank accounts and decide how much the ticket is worth
  • decide on how to travel between Toronto, ON, and Chicago, IL, (fly or get on a Greyhound)
  • decide on whether I should book a flight between Toronto and Chicago (if I end up deciding to fly) from here or wait and see if I can get a bargain ticket when in North America (risking to pay an awful lot of money or mess up my schedule)
  • check with my friends to see if my plan works out
  • get my vacation approved by my boss (he's given me the thumbs up when asked a couple of weeks ago but I don't have a signature on paper yet)
  • tell everyone I can't go see that I can't go see them this time :(
  • investigate what one can do in Atlantic Canada on Spring Break (last week of February) without freezing your toes, fingers and nose off
'Cause I really AM going. The dream is now a project in planning. I plan on seeing my sister February 19th-26th, go to Chicago on February 26th and stay 4-5 days (over a weekend so friends who want see me in IL more easily can do so), travel to Ontario to see friends (and meet up with my Canadian sister who'll be flying across the country to see me! :heart:) and places I haven't seen in a long time. I plan on going back home on March 12th or 13th. So, three whole weeks for me "over there". :)
(Which is a long time, but not long enough for me to travel to the west coast on the budget I have... Sorry... I'll try to do better next time!)
It sounds like a wonderful trip you're planning. We who live on the West Coast of the US & Canada will just have to wait for your next visit.
