This last week has certainly been a boost for my self confidence. I've spent four intense days with people I've never met before and every day I was given compliments and praise. And people laughed at my jokes. And people referred back to things I had said earlier. And I got hugs when we all said goodbye to go back to our different work places.
I don't mean to brag or gloat, but I'm sort of on a high. And I don't want to get back down again.
"You get things so quickly. How do you do it?", "You're over 30? Judging by your looks, I'd guess 25. Your skin is so smooth and flawless", "Smart thinking, Anna. That saved us a ton of work", "I love your glasses. Who's your optician?", "You made this shawl? It's beautiful!", "You see structures quite easily, eh?", I need parts of your brain"
And so on...
And now I'm in charge of this project at work. Managing it. Or to be honest, making plans and structures on how to manage it.
While on a high.
(And while on a high, I've cast on for my Shipwreck. And I've done work in our garden as we're putting up a fence. And I've had an amazing Italian dinner with friends while preparing for our vacation in Tuscany this fall. And I've realized that my sister is coming home to Sweden in a month and a half. And I've biked a lot. While on a high...)

Maybe you've reached a new level in life and you can stay up there for awhile. Congratulations!
Yay for highs!
Good for you, Anna! I don't think you're bragging at all - it's these little comments here and there that can make one's day. Your post is very uplifting!
"High on life" is the best high there is...:)
